Bought a Volvo of martin. He’s nice, honest and straight talking. Very happy with the car. Driving it home I found the dab radio wasn’t working. Called him up and told him and he’s asked to be updated if it was just bad signal or faulty unit. Messaged him when I get home and told him it def wasn’t working. He asked for a couple of days to sort it out and then told me he was sending a replacement dab receiver down to me which was easy to fit. Considering the reputation car dealers have, he’s a good one. I travelled 350 miles to have a look at it and it was as he described. Very happy with my new car and impressed with his customer care.

Lovely guy, didn’t want to know when it went wrong. Called up a couple of days after purchase when it first went wrong, and he didn’t want a thing to do with it. Had to pay £500 so far for faulty electronics not covered by warranty, was in the garage three days after purchase and MB didn’t want to know. Sold with cracked tyres that need replacing, cracked windscreen wipers that I have now replaced oil was nearly empty, both the AA and the BMW garage were sceptical that the car was sold without knowing all these faults were there and recommended that I had the car serviced again independently to make sure nothing else had been overlooked on the MB service, but unfortunately after all the repairs I can’t afford to pay for that yet. On the plus side it still runs. Wouldn’t go anywhere near this garage if I had a second chance.
